JLizard… where did you get that name?

Hi, we are JLizard and we provide a new log management as a service solution called logentries. We have been building a logentries since early 2010. It is a really cool technology, built upon (too many) 🙂 years of research in the area of enterprise systems and log management.

So what else have we been doing over the past year?? Here’s one or two of the highlights…

January – April: We were lucky enough to be selected for the National Digital Research Centre’s Launchpad programme (a program modeled on the likes of Y combinator) which was a great kick start for us.

We’ve also had some nice press… Sunday Business Post, Business and Finance Magazine, Irish Director Magazine, The Irish Times

June: Selected as one of three companies to pitch at the Dublin Web Summit (sharing a platform with the founders of Bebo, Hostleworld and Xing to name but a few…)

September: We were invited to the F.ounders event in Dublin where we spent the weekend drinking with … i mean engaging with… founders from some of the hottest start-ups and companies around, including some you MAY have heard of like Twitter, YouTube, Bebo, Skype, WordPress…

November: Winners of the Nova University College Dublin start up company of the year award following in the footsteps of some highly successful companies like ChangingWorlds

Oh and where did we get the name JLizard???  Well, we knew you’d ask…
